Path to Hope
Children with cancer at Dell Children's Hospital were in need of an experiential space that could give them an escape because they were in this wing for months on end. Dell Children's partnered with Kendra Scott to bring joy to those in need. This would be the epicenter for expressive therapies and events. The space would be multifunctional and also house DCTV, where kids can broadcast from here to any patient's room who cannot attend.
Chosen Moodboad Concept Inspiration
Before any designs were done, a moodboard evoking the theme look and feel was shared with all teams and leadership to gain alignment with such diverse stakeholders. It helped to achieve the sense of "Yellow Brick Road" which would transport the kids away from their troubles and create a haven of fun and discovery.
Oversized magnetic puzzles where created for both boys and girls with custom artwork to engage children of all ages. Magnetic critters that could be placed within the landscapes were also part of the theme.
